 Unitec's Architecture and Landscape Architecture programmes focus on designing exciting and functional buildings, landscapes and gardens that shape the world around us. Along with an understanding of history and theory, you'll gain experience working with professionals in the industry.
International recognition We are one of only three architectural schools in New Zealand to offer an internationally accredited course of study leading to professional registration as an architect. We’re also the first in the country to introduce the new standard professional qualification through our two-year Master of Architecture (Professional). What’s more, our programmes are endorsed by the New Zealand Institute of Architects, the New Zealand Registered Architects Board and the Commonwealth Association of Architects. We’re also one of just three places you can study landscape architecture, and the Bachelor of Landscape Architecture qualification is accredited by the New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects (NZILA).
